Extensive information on wind and weather conditions during may, U.S. storm warnings and signals, note to observers and contributors, Hydrographic Office branches, equator crossings for sailing passages, isobars and isotherms for May. Legend of symbols shows derelicts and wrecks, drifting buoys, icebergs and field ice, radio stations, magnetic variation, ocean currents, storm tracks, and prevailing winds and calms. 2 inset charts showing "normal reduced barometric pressure and normal temperature of the atmosphere for the month" and the percentage of days in which there are gales. "Printed April 20, 1918."
