This raster data layer contains the annual average offshore wind speed for the Atlantic Coast (Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Virginia) at a 90 meter height. These data provide information on the wind resource development potential for the Atlantic Coast. This layer is presented in the WGS84 coordinate system for web display purposes. Downloadable data are provided in native coordinate system or projection.
