Decorative border and cartouche, compass rose, rhumb lines. Cities in red; forests in green. Hondius acquired Mercator's atlas plates in 1604, added to them, and re-issued them as the "Mercator-Hondius Atlas" in 1606. From Hondius' Mercator-Hondius atlas, 1606.
