Title cartouche (upper left) topped with female native riding large armadillo. Copied from Visscher's map of 1636. Also found on Allard's map of [1705]. Map is based on Kaerius' map of 1614 and Visscher's map, but the west coast is revised and now shows California as an island. Top border is decorated with birds-eye views of Cusco, Mexico [City], Olinda in Pharnambuco, Havana Portus, S. Domingo and Cartagena. Side borders have costumed native figures; 4 on each side.
