From British and United States surveys ; published Apr, 1883, at the Hydrographic Office, under the authority of the Secretary of the Navy. Depths shown by soundings, relief by hachures and spot heights. Longitudinal and latitudinal lines (Greenwich meridian). 1915 variation compass roses. Shows coastal relief, waterways, low water areas, various place names, islands, lights, currents. Descriptive text, such as "bare white rocks," "brown sand," "tides meet about here with slight variations." "No 904."
