(map top right) LC 532 and 546; BN FER IA, d(111), FER ID(124), FER V(14); Nordenskiöld Collection I, 72(112); Maritime 232 (96); UCB Par N. de Fer. Geogr. de Monseig le DAUPHIN. Southern tip of California shown and labelled "CAROLINE" and mainland, labelled "NOUVEAU MEXIQUE" is shown turning dramatically eastward at approximately the same latitude as the Mississippi River delta. Shows great distortions along the Gulf of Mexico coastline. Title and imprint cartouche (bottom left) with standing native figures to its right, and with smaller cartouche to its right giving the latitude and longitude of Panama, Acapulco, Mexico, and Mississippi River.
