par son tres humble et tres obeissant serviteur I. Jaillot. Relief shown pictorially. 3 bar scales on map, given in "Mille Pas Geometriques," "Lieües de Provence," and "Lieües Communes de Languedoc." Latin title across top. Decorative cartouches with flora and fauna, including unicorn. Compass rose, latitudinal and longitudinal lines. Shows topography, vegetation, waterways, ports. "Presenté a Monseigneur le Duc de Bourgogne." Map first appeared in 1707; later published by R. & J. Ottens.
