This line shapefile represents the Caltrain centerline, a 77-mile rail corridor that connects from San Francisco to Gilroy. The centerline is the imaginary line located halfway between the Northbound and Southbound train tracks. This layer is part of the San Mateo County Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment Project. These data are intended for researchers, students, and policy makers for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production. This layer is presented in the WGS84 coordinate system for web display purposes. Downloadable data are provided in native coordinate system or projection.
