This point shapefile depicts piers and jetties regularly sampled by the California Recreational Fisheries Survey. Location sites provided by the Pacific State Marine Fisheries Commision. Records are not exhaustive of all piers or jetties on the California coast. This coverage provides cartographic representation of common piers and jetties used for fishing on the California coast. This layer is presented in the WGS84 coordinate system for web display purposes. Downloadable data are provided in native coordinate system or projection.
