- [Jean Boisseau]. California shown as a large island with slightly rounded northern coast and separated from mainland by very narrow east-west "strait". Mainland coastline continues north to 50 deg. N. before heading northeast. Terre de Iesso, to northwest, is missing its eastern coast, suggesting a northwest passage. The "S. Laurent" River extends westward to "Quiuira". Title cartouche of simple scrollwork (bottom left) with scale given in "Lieues d'Alemagne" above it. Issued in: Tresor des cartes geographiqves des principavx estatz de lvnivers ... . -- A Paris : chez Iean Boisseau, en I'Isle du Palais, a la Fontaine de Iouuence Royalle. Auec priuilege du Roy, 1643. Reissued in volume of same title but new imprint: A Paris : chez Lou[is] Boissevin A la rue St Jaques a l'Image de Ste Geneviefve. Avec privilege du Roy, 1653.
