Shading shows day and night on the earth, with the sun pictured at bottom left and the moon at bottom right, and roman numerals (I-XII twice) surrounding the map. Johannes Georgio Eberspergerg fecit (bottom center). Also included on title page of his Grosser Atlas, 1731, and as center part of a clock on sheet with geographical text entitled “Geographische universal-zeig und schlag-uhr”, with added mountains in America. [Johann Baptist Homann].
