- Hachure and spot-height relief. Color legend of nations/colonial powers. Symbols and abbreviations legends. 3 bar scales in English Miles, Geographical Miles, and Kilometres. Shows telegraph cables, railways, roads, various topographic features (waterfalls, swamps, etc.), goldfields, various locations and place names (towns, tribe names, residences of tribe chiefs, regions), water sources, waterways (including supposed courses). Title and page numbers (123-124) also on verso. Taken from unknown atlas--Fort Salisbury, railway lines, and telegraph cables date this to late 1890s. Orange Free State and South African Republic (-1902) still present.
