Coordinates approximate and based on Greenwich meridian. 4 bar scales on map given in "Stadia", "Mille passus geometrica", "Milliaria unius horae", and "Dietae". Shows topography, drainage, boundaries of the tribes of Israel, travel routes, places of historical interest. Includes legend: Notarum explicatio. Decorative cartouche shows illustrations of Moses receiving the tablets on Mount Sinai, the burning bush, and Israelites with angels. Inset map: Populi Israelitici ex Aegypto per desertum in terram promissionis Canaan quadraginta annorum iter. stat. et profectio. Appears in Homann's Grosser Atlas über die ganze Welt.
