Relief shown by contours and spot heights. Legend shows various boundaries, roads, railways, forests, waterways, various locations (such as forts, castles, churches, ruins, cities), bridges. Political divisions within Haut-Rhin. Haut-Rhin department belongs to Germany on this map, dating it before Treaty of Versailles, 1919. Basel also lacks Dreirosenbrücke (bridge--finished 1934).
