California shown as a labeled island with an indented northern coast and some coastal place names. Great lakes are shown open to the west. A partial outline of New Zealand is shown. Limited decoration. Two angels hold a royal coat of arms at top between two hemispheres with a small cartouche directly below. A decorative cartouche at bottom surrounded by sea creatures. Title at top with "169." below it. Top cartouche - "Dedie au Roy. Par son tres-humble, tres-obeissant, et tres-fidele Sujet, et Serviteur, Hubert Jaillot Geographe de Sa Majeste."
