Montcomery St. cor. Commercial, S. F. This is the second state of the 3d. Edn, the first stating "issued after the Adjournment of the Legislature 1858." The western part of Nevada has been remapped as compared with 1st edition, but follows very closely the second edition. A significant addition is the notice of the silver discoveries: Virginia City and Gold Hill. Relief shown by hachures and spot heights. Latitudinal and longitudinal lines. Coordinates approximate and based on Greenwich meridian. Legend at left, above title. Bar scale on map in "Statute Miles." Shows topography, waterways, county boundaries, towns, ranchos, roads, trails, canals, ditches, and "mining places." Also covers Nevada.
