Description:

This point shapefile contains locations of lighthouses on the California coast. This layer was created using web-based research on coastal lighthouse locations. Point locations were created by using aerial photography. Each lighthouse was attributed with its operation status. This coverage depicts lighthouses on the California coast. This layer is presented in the WGS84 coordinate system for web display purposes. Downloadable data are provided in native coordinate system or projection.
