- Relief shown pictorially, and by shading. Bar scale on map given in "Horae itineris." North oriented toward upper right of sheet. Decorative cartouches, compass roses, ship, sea monsters. Drawn by Jodocus Hondius the younger, who died in 1629, before its publication. Blaeu bought the plate and replaced Hondius' name with his own. He included the map in his first atlas and all further editions, leaving the date 1629. From Blaeu's Atlantis appendix, 1630.
