California as an island with rounded northern coastline, with suggestion of sea passage to its north and large landmass to its northwest. On sheet: 52 playing cards (uncut), each describing a geographical region. Engraved by: Cordier sculp. (within sheet title cartouche). Sheet title cartouche is as follows: "L'AFRIQUE" map, identified crown and shield of "Monseigneur le Dauphin", "L'AMERIQUE" and "L'EUROPE" maps, title: LES TABLES de GEOGRAPHIE, reduites en vn IEV DE CARTES, and "L'ASIE" map.
