- California shown as a labeled island with a slightly indented northern coast and a few place names. Shows a wide strait to the NW of California. Antarctica reaches South America. Includes a partial outline of New Zealand. Includes four allegorical vignettes in each corner. Shows 3 volcanos between hemispheres at bottom labeled Vesuvius, Heda, and Aetna. Simple title cartouche at top between hemispheres. At top right "im Anhang pag . 1." From his Epitome Geographiae Cluverianae Nova, 1727.
