Description:: Pair of maps cut out from original and mounted on cardboard. Map of Bridgewater Township, Somerset County, N.J. with adjacent Raritan, Somerville and Bound Brook. Includes section of New Jersey Central Rail Road line. Other cut out is an inset of Raritan borough and accompanying business directory. Marked in pencil "From Map of vicinity of Philadelphia and Trenton, surveyed by D. J. Lake and S. N. Beers, 1860." Gift of Montagu Hankin estate. Paper is fragile and worn through in spots.
