Map created from a Trigonometrical Survey under the direction of A. D. Bache, Superintendent of the Survey of the Coasts of the United States. Other personnel involved included triangulation by John Farley, topography by H. W. Bache and hydrography by the party under the command of T. S. Phelps, U. S. N. Assistant. Map engraved by F. W. Benner and W. H. Davis. Moderate discoloration from moisture stains.
