- This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: A correct map of the United States with the West Indies : from the best authorities by Samuel Lewis ; Fairman, scrt ; Hooker, sculpt. It was published by T.L. Plowman in 1813. Scale [ca. 1:4,875,000]. This layer is image 3 of 4 total images of the four sheet source map, representing the northeast portion of the map. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the North American Lambert Conformal Conic coordinate system.
